Matt Franscioni, the owner of Matt's Music Stage & School, is no stranger to the Paso Robles and Templeton area.  Including being the drummer for Blackberry Ridge, many locals remember him working as a professional musician in the area for 12 years.  Matt then left in 1985 for the Bay area to pursue the corporate life in manufacturing and quality engineering.  Frustrated by distracting and noisy music stores with bad service and inflated prices, he dreamed of someday providing the ideal experience for musicians.  "Someday" came in 2002 when Matt returned home to Paso Robles.  Living in Paso Robles enabled him to live closer to family as well as be a part of a thriving and yet still rural community.  With the passion of music in his heart, an unusually acute sense of quality, and high standards of service, he enjoys helping people find the perfect instrument for them!

Although Matt is extremely passionate about guitars, when playing with others, however, he prefers a set of brushes, cymbals, cajon, and his homemade drum box!  He is currently playing in a number or original groups including The Rogue Canaries.
